Nicolette grew up in London, England then moved all the way to Texas. Her father being a geologist from New Mexico, she grew to love the desert, Native American culture, mountains, and Hatch green chile.
She then moved across the globe to Brisbane, Australia, where she is currently based.
Nicolette works alongside a notion centred on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.
Because of her intrinsic nature as a documentarist, her image making takes on an organic, natural form.
